1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to the Pulseora iPhone app, provided by INSPIRED BEACH LIMITED (“Inspired Beach”, “we”, “us”). Pulseora is a general wellness app, not a medical device. For questions, contact contact@inspiredbeach.com.
2. Information stored on your device
Pulseora lets you create and view information such as heart-rate and HRV results; manually entered blood-pressure, blood-sugar and weight records; profile details used for calculations; questionnaire answers and wellness results; reminders; settings; food and activity preferences; and generated reports.
This information is stored locally in the app’s device storage. Inspired Beach does not operate an account system or server that receives this health and profile data.
3. Camera and heart-rate checks
If you grant camera permission, Pulseora uses the camera and flash to analyze fingertip color changes in real time for optical PPG pulse detection. Camera frames are processed transiently on the device. They are not added to your photo library, retained as images or uploaded to us. You can deny or revoke camera access in iOS Settings; camera-based checks will then be unavailable.
4. Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Pulseora requests read-only access to steps, walking and running distance, active energy and resting energy. This data is read and displayed on your device and is not uploaded to Inspired Beach. Pulseora does not write health data to Apple Health. You can control or revoke access at any time in Apple Health or iOS Settings.
5. Purchases
Apple processes Pulseora Pro purchases and subscriptions. We do not receive your payment-card information. The app uses Apple’s StoreKit services to display localized products, complete purchases, restore purchases and determine entitlement status. Apple’s handling of purchase and account information is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
6. Reports, sharing and notifications
PDF reports are generated on your device. A report leaves Pulseora only when you choose a destination through the iOS share sheet; the destination’s privacy practices then apply. Reminders use local notifications scheduled on your device. Pulseora does not use remote push notifications for these reminders.
7. Data collection, analytics and advertising
The current Pulseora release does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, an account system, IDFA access or a developer-operated backend. Based on this configuration, Inspired Beach does not collect data from Pulseora. Apple and the App Store may independently process diagnostic, transaction or device information under your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.
8. Retention and deletion
Local records remain on your iPhone until you delete them in the app, reset relevant data or delete Pulseora. Deleting the app removes its local app storage according to iOS behavior. Information stored by Apple, including purchase history or Apple Health data, is controlled separately through your Apple account and Apple Health settings.
9. Children
Pulseora is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. Wellness results are not a substitute for guidance from a parent, guardian or qualified professional.
10. Security and future changes
Keeping data local reduces transmission risk, but no device or storage method is completely secure. Protect your iPhone with a passcode and current system software. If a future version adds a backend, analytics, crash reporting or another service that changes these practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before or with that change.
11. Your choices and contact
You control app permissions in iOS Settings, Apple Health access in Health settings, notifications, local records and report sharing. Because Inspired Beach does not receive your in-app health and profile data, we generally cannot access, export or delete it remotely.
For a privacy question, email contact@inspiredbeach.com. Please do not send health records or other sensitive information by email.
